Creole Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. beef stew meat
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
3 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. hot water
1 c. onion rings
1 c. drained canned corn
1 c. okra, sliced
2 c. drained tomatoes
1 c. diced potatoes
Preparation

Mix flour, salt and pepper.
Sprinkle over meat; brown in hot shortening.
Add hot water; cover and simmer for 2 hours.
Add vegetables about 30 minutes before cooking time is finished.
