Razzle Dazzle Quick Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 pt. fresh raspberries (or frozen without syrup, thawed and drained)
    1 (16 oz.) can drained sweet cherries (reserve liquid)
    4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 (1 3/4 oz.) pkg. powdered fruit pectin
Preparation
    In a medium bowl, crush raspberries to measure 2 cups.
    Finely chop cherries to measure 1 cup.
    In a 4-quart bowl, combine crushed raspberries, chopped cherries, sugar, corn syrup and lemon juice.
    Mix well.
    Let stand 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, add water to reserved cherry liquid to measure 3/4 cup.
