Peach Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    5 slices white bread, quartered diagonally
    whipped cream (optional)
    1 (8 3/4 oz.) can peaches or fruit cocktail, sliced and drained
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ginger or nutmeg
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine eggs, milk and vanilla; add bread and drained peaches.
    In small bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Reserve 1 1/2 teaspoons of sugar mixture; set aside. Add remaining sugar mixture to peach mixture; mix well.
