Cornbread Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. chopped green onions
2 c. chopped celery
1 1/2 c. chopped green bell pepper
1/2 c. chopped red bell pepper
1 Tbsp. butter
2 c. Jim Dandy self-rising cornmeal
1 c. Gold Medal self-rising flour
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. sugar
8 boiled eggs, mashed
1 c. cooked rice
4 slices light bread (moistened)
1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) hen, boiled, deboned and chopped
2 qt. broth*
1/2 stick butter
salt and pepper to taste

*Add enough canned broth to broth where chicken was cooked to make the 2 quarts.
