Winter Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large pitted prunes, halved
    1/4 tsp. ground allspice
    1 small orange, peeled
    2 c. cubed fresh pineapple
    1 medium banana, sliced
    1 small red apple, cored and cubed
Preparation
    In small saucepan, place prunes and allspice with 1 cup water. Bring to boil; reduce heat to low and simmer 10 minutes.
    Set aside to cool.
    Cut orange over medium bowl to catch juices.
    Add remaining fruits and prune mixture to bowl and stir gently to mix. Serve at once, or cover and refrigerate.
    Makes 10 servings.
