Chocolate Chip Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips, divided
1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs, milk and vanilla.
Mix well.
Blend in dry ingredients.
Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips and the walnuts.
Spread in an 8-inch square Pyrex dish that has been greased.
Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
Microwave on High for 5 to 7 minutes, turning dish every 2 minutes, until done.
Cool and cut into bars.
Do not overbake.
