Beef Stew Deluxe - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. beef stew meat (cut into cubes)
1 c. port wine
1 tsp. salt
1 can onion soup, undiluted
1 can mushroom soup, undiluted
1- 8 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO BROWN MEAT. Mix all ingredients in a covered casserole dish and bake at 300\u00b0 for 3 hours. Serve over fluffy rice, noodles or whipped potatoes. Thicken gravy if necessary. Raise temperature of over to 400\u00b0.
Remove cover from pan and add 1 can of refrigerated canned biscuits to top of stew. Bake until biscuits are browned. Bake extra biscuits to serve stew over biscuit.
