Black Walnut Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts (black or English)
Preparation

Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
In separate bowl, blend together thoroughly baking powder and flour.
Slowly add milk to first mixture.
Fold in flour mixture with vanilla.
Add walnuts. Bake in Bundt or tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
When cool, glaze or sprinkle with 10x sugar.
