Breakfast In A Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 round loaf bread (8 to 9-inches)
    4 oz. ham, sausage or bacon
    1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    6 scrambled eggs
    1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
    8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
    picante sauce (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut 2-inch slice from top of loaf.
    Set aside for lid.
    Remove soft interior of loaf, leaving a 1-inch thick wall and bottom.
    Place meat in bottom of loaf.
    Top with bell pepper rings.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 of cheeses.
    Layer scrambled eggs and tomatoes over cheeses.
    Top with remaining cheeses and mushrooms.
    Place top lid on loaf.
    Wrap in foil.
    Place on baking sheet.
    Bake about 30 minutes or until heated through. Makes 8 servings.
