Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. standard oysters with liquid
    2 to 3 c. coarsely crushed crackers
    1/2 c. or 1 stick margarine or butter
    1 to 2 c. milk
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Grease a 1-quart casserole dish.
    Alternate layers of oysters, crackers and dots of margarine, ending with a layer of crumbs. Add milk until liquid almost reaches top of casserole.
    Dot with remaining margarine.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown, about 45 to 60 minutes.
    Makes 6 generous servings.
