Atkins Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 1/2 lb. yellow onions, thinly sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    pinch of sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 qt. beef bouillon (8 cubes for 2 qt. water)
    salt and pepper to taste
    Provolone cheese
    French bread
Preparation
    Melt butter and add oil.
    Add onions.
    Cook slowly until tender, stirring occasionally.
    Add salt, pepper, sugar and flour. Stir for 2 minutes and add bouillon water.
    Cook over medium heat for 1 hour.
    Place toasted bread in bowl; add half bowl of soup. Place cheese on top of bread and fill rest of way with soup. Serves 4 to 6.
