Dump Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yellow cake
    1 can pineapple
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    3 c. milk
    1 c. heavy whipped cream
    1/4 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. coconut, toasted
Preparation
    In 9 x 13-inch pan, bake cake according to package.
    In saucepan, combine sugar and pineapple juice.
    Cook until thickened.
    Pierce cake.
    Pour mixture on top.
    Combine pudding and milk.
    Beat cream, powdered sugar and vanilla.
    Spread as icing over cake.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Sprinkle coconut over top before serving.
