Classic Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 pkg. lasagne
Preparation
    In large pan lightly brown beef and onions.
    Add tomato paste, water, parsley, salt, sugar, garlic powder, pepper and oregano. Simmer, uncovered, about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, cook lasagne as directed.
    Drain.
    In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan, spread about 1 cup sauce, then alternate layers of lasagne, sauce and cheese, ending with sauce and cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbling.
    Allow to stand for 15 minutes.
    Cut in squares.
    Makes 8 servings.
