Old Fashion Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 whole eggs
2 eggs, separated
6 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 tsp. cold water
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of baking powder
1 pie shell
Preparation

Combine sugar, butter, cornstarch, whole eggs and egg yolks, lemon juice and rind in top of double boiler.
Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Cool slightly.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Add remaining ingredients to egg whites with 2 tablespoons additional sugar.
Beat until stiff.
Cover top of pie and brown.
