Chinese Beef And Broccoli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. top round steak or sirloin
    2 to 3 c. broccoli
    4 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce (Kikkoman)
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 tsp. water or sherry (if desired)
    4 c. cooked rice
Preparation
    Slice steak thinly in strips 1/4-inch wide and 2 inches long. Mix soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar and water or sherry together in small bowl.
    Marinate beef in the mixture for 1 minute to 1 hour. Prepare broccoli; wash, remove outer skin and slice florets to about 1/4-inch thickness.
    May slice upper stem into thin slices, also.
