Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks margarine (1/2 lb.)
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 medium eggs
3/4 c. milk
1 c. chopped black walnuts (about 5 oz.)
Preparation

Cream shortening. Add next 4 ingredients and mix together. Add milk and vanilla.
Beat.
Add eggs and mix well.
Add nuts. Pour into greased and floured tube cake pan.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Cool in pan for 20 minutes.
Remove from pan and let cool.
