Green Chili Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 fresh or canned whole green chiles
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    5 eggs, lightly beaten
    2 1/2 Tbsp. whipping cream
    2 Tbsp. onion, minced
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic, minced
    ground pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Generously grease 10-inch pie pan or shallow casserole.
    Line plate with split chiles, covering bottom of pan completely; extend up sides as much as possible.
    Combine cheese, eggs, cream, onion, salt, garlic and pepper in blender about 2 minutes.
    Carefully pour into pie plate and bake about 30 minutes.
    Let cool slightly before cutting into wedges.
