Mexican Chow - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. elbow spaghetti, uncooked
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. chili powder
speck of red pepper
No. 303 can kidney beans
1 can tomato puree
Preparation

Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
Saute onion in butter or margarine until soft.
Add ground beef.
Cook until brown, stirring occasionally.
Combine meat mixture with spaghetti, seasonings, kidney beans and tomato puree.
Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve hot in bowls.
Makes 6 servings.
