Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. sherry
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak
    3 Tbsp. oil
    4 large green peppers, cut into 1-inch strips
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Combine cornstarch, soy sauce, sherry and garlic.
    Cut steak into thin crosswise slices. Add to soy mixture.
    Heat oil and add peppers.
    Stir-fry until almost tender. Stir in beef mixture, salt and pepper.
    Cook until beef is brown, stirring frequently. Add tomatoes and cook until tender.
    Serve over rice.
