German'S Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. butter flavor
1 c. buttermilk
3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. German's sweet chocolate
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs, vanilla, butter flavor and buttermilk.
Sift together dry ingredients and add to other. Mix well.
Add chocolate that has been softened in double boiler or microwave.
Blend well.
Bake in well-greased and floured Bundt pan for 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
Remove from pan while still hot.
Cover in tight container until cold.
