Baked German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 to 1 c. bacon, diced and fried
    1 c. sliced celery
    1 c. diced onion
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2/3 c. cider vinegar
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    8 c. cooked sliced potatoes (about 8 medium)
Preparation
    Fry bacon in large skillet until crisp.
    Remove bacon; drain off fat, measure fat and return 1/4 cup to skillet.
    Add onions and celery.
    Saute 2 to 3 minutes.
    Blend in flour.
    Stir in water and vinegar.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick and bubbly.
    Stir in sugar, salt, pepper and bacon.
