Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter
    1/2 c. flour
    2 cans chicken stock (regular size)
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli
    1 pt. half and half
    3-inch slice Velveeta, cut into cubes
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Stir in flour and cook until bubbling (1 to 2 minutes).
    Slowly stir in stock, whisking constantly.
    Heat to a near boil until soup thickens.
    Add broccoli and half and half, then add cheese slowly.
    Serves 4 to 6.
