Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. boneless stew meat
    3 large onions
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/3 c. sugar
    catsup
    1 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    (I let stew meat, onions, salt and pepper cool and remove any fat from meat.)
    Mash with potato masher.
    Add vinegar, sugar, catsup and chili powder.
    Simmer 20 to 30 minutes.
    Serve over rice or in buns as sandwiches with barbecue slaw.
