Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    32 oz. can diced tomatoes
    9 oz. can chicken broth
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 tsp. sugar
    pinch of soda
    1 pt. half and half
Preparation
    Mix tomatoes, broth, margarine, onion and sugar. Simmer 1/2 hour. Pour hot mixture SLOWLY into half and half and then pour slowly back into cooking pan and heat. Do not boil.
