Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 good-sized potatoes
    1 medium onion
    1 small can mushrooms
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    garlic powder
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in skins for 30 minutes; peel and slice 1/2 of the potatoes in the bottom of ovensafe dish.
    Layer with 1/2 the chopped onion, mushrooms, garlic powder, salt, pepper, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream and cheese.
    Repeat.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
