Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda (in bananas)
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk
3 bananas, mashed
2 eggs
1/3 c. milk
2/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Beat on medium speed the flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, mixed with bananas, salt, shortening and 1/2 cup milk for 2 minutes.
Add eggs and 1/3 cup milk.
Beat 2 more minutes.
Fold in chopped nuts.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 30 to 35 minutes for layers or 45 minutes for oblong cake.
