Spaghetti Sauce(Germany) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 green pepper
    1 large onion
    2 stalks celery
    1 clove garlic
    4 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 bay leaf
    1 whole clove
    1 sprig parsley
    2 qt. tomatoes or 1 qt. tomato puree
Preparation
    Dice and cook in oil green pepper, onion, celery and garlic. Add bay leaf, whole clove, parsley and tomatoes or puree.
    Simmer slowly until sauce is thick.
