German Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cabbage
    1 large onion
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 c. oil
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Grate cabbage and onion.
    Add 3/4 cup sugar.
    Cover.
    Set aside.
    Bring to boil, 2 minutes, mustard, celery seed, oil, vinegar, 1 teaspoon sugar and salt; pour over cabbage mixture. Let set 12 or more hours; refrigerate.
    Makes 1 to 1 1/2 quarts.
