Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. water
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped broccoli or 2 stalks fresh
    1 1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    garlic to taste
    2 c. Velveeta cheese
    1 c. milk
    1 c. half and half
    1/4 c. butter
    1/3 c. flour
    1/2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Add broccoli and onion to 6 cups hot water and boil 10 to 12 minutes.
    Add seasonings and cheese until cheese melts.
    Add milk, half and half and butter.
    Stir and heat to boil.
    Mix 1/2 cup water and 1/3 cup flour.
    Add to hot mixture.
    Cook and stir until soup is consistency of heavy cream.
