Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. meal
3 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 medium onion, chopped
1 egg

Preparation

Mix all ingredients with enough liquid to make a soft dough. Drop from teaspoon in deep fat.
Fry until golden brown.
