Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German Chocolate cake mix
    1 can condensed milk
    1 stick margarine or butter
    14 oz. bag of caramels
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Make cake according to package directions. Pour 1/2 batter into greased & floured 9 X 13 pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt caramels with margarine & canned milk. Pour caramel mixture over cake. Sprinkle pecans & chocolate chips over caramel mixture. Pour remaining batter over this. Continue baking for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
