Zuppa Tuscano Soup(Italian Potato Soup) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground Italian or hot sausage
    3/4 c. onions
    1 slice diced bacon
    1 1/4 tsp. minced garlic
    1 (14 oz.) can chicken broth
    2 c. water
    2 medium potatoes, sliced
    2 c. fresh kale
    1/3 c. heavy whipping cream
Preparation
    Cook sausage in large skillet; drain. Cook onion and bacon; add to sausage in stockpot. Stir in garlic; add broth, water and potatoes. Cook for 25 minutes. Stir in kale and cream and cook for additional 15 minutes.
