Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 7 medium sweet potatoes
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1 c. hot water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    nutmeg to taste
    cinnamon to taste
Preparation
    Partially boil potatoes. Cool and peel. Cut potatoes into quarters lengthwise and arrange in a baking dish.
    Sprinkle with sugar and butter. Pour hot water over all.
    Sprinkle with salt, nutmeg and cinnamon. Cook in a 350\u00b0 oven until potatoes are soft and syrup is thick, about 30 minutes.
