Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 lb. beef round steak (thin)
1 medium onion, sliced tin
1 tomato, peeled and cut
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large green pepper, sliced
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 tsp. sugar
1 c. cold water
4 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Place oil, beef, onion, tomato and garlic in 1 1/2-quart casserole and cover.
Cook until meat has lost its pink color.
Stir occasionally.
Dissolve cornstarch in water with soy sauce and sugar.
Put over meat.
Add green pepper. Cook until peppers are tender yet slightly crisp.
Serves over rice.
