Perfect Pasta Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. fettucini or linguini, cooked and drained
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
    1/2 c. whipping or heavy cream
    2 egg yolks
    1 tsp. finely minced onion
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    dash of salt and pepper
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
    1/2 c. (2 oz.) grated Parmesan cheese
    1 1/2 c. (about 1/2 lb.) diced or shredded ham
Preparation
    Melt butter in large frying pan over medium-low heat.
    Stir in cream, egg yolks, onion and seasonings until well blended.
    Do not boil.
    Stir in cheeses until melted.
    Add pasta, stirring, until thoroughly blended.
    Spoon immediately onto warmed serving plate. Sprinkle with ham.
    Makes 6 servings.
