Caramel Layer Choco-Squares(Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. chocolate morsels (6 oz.)
Preparation
    Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    In mixing bowl, combine dry cake mix, butter, 1/3 cup milk and nuts by hand.
    Stir until dough holds together.
    Press 1/2 of dough into prepared pan. Reserve remaining dough for topping.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate pieces over baked crusts.
    Spread caramel mixture over chocolate pieces.
    Crumble reserved dough over caramel mixture.
    Return to oven and bake 15 minutes.
    Cool slightly.
    Refrigerate 30 minutes to set caramel.
    Cut into squares.
