Split Pea Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (1 lb.) pkg. split peas
1 ham bone or 2 ham hocks
1 carrot, diced
1 onion, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
2 qt. water
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
-
Combine ingredients in slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours.
Remove ham bone; cut meat off, dice and return meat to soup.
Makes 8 servings.
