Chocolate Almond Coconut Bars - cooking recipe

1 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. margarine, softened
1 1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. almonds
14 oz. condensed sweet milk
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix together flour, brown sugar and margarine until crumbly.
Press in a 9-inch greased pan.
Combine coconut and 3/4 cup condensed milk and spread over crust. Sprinkle with almonds evenly.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
While baking, mix 1/2 cup of condensed milk and chocolate chips together and heat over low heat until melted.
Stir in vanilla; spread over warm bars and refrigerate until firm.
Cut into bars.
