Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and finely chopped
    1/2 c. apple juice
    2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Place apples and juice in a microproof bowl.
    Cover tightly with plastic wrap.
    Microwave on High for 15 minutes.
    Carefully remove wrap and stir in remaining ingredients.
    Return to microwave and cook, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring every 2 to 3 minutes.
    Transfer mixture to a blender and process until smooth.
    Store in airtight jars in the refrigerator.
