Sweet Yellow Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 c. scalded milk
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 slightly beaten eggs (save 1 Tbsp.)
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Put yeast in water; set aside.
    Combine milk, butter and sugar in a large bowl.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Stir in eggs, vanilla, salt and yeast.
    Gradually add flour.
    Cover and let stand until dough doubles (approximately 1 hour).
    Beat down and let rise 45 minutes more.
    Turn into 2 greased bread pans and let rise 45 minutes more.
    Brush tops of bread lightly with remaining egg.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
