Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soft shortening
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 3/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix shortening, sugar, butter and eggs thoroughly.
    Blend the dry ingredients; stir in.
    Roll into balls the size of small walnuts.
    Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes 5 dozen cookies.
    This recipe will serve 12 people.
