Oatmeal, Cornflake Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. Parkay (2 sticks)
1 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 large egg
1 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. shredded coconut
3 1/2 c. flour
1 c. crushed cornflakes
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together.
Add egg and oil to mixture and mix well.
Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly and add to butter mixture, then add 1 teaspoon each of the following to the mixture:
soda, salt and vanilla.
Form into balls the size of a walnut and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten with fork dipped in water.
Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes if crispy cookies are desired.
For chewy cookies, cut back time to 10 minutes.
Cool on cookie sheet before storing.
These are very crisp and store well.
