Blackberry Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, beaten well
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. each: cinnamon, allspice, cloves and nutmeg
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. blackberry jam
    1 c. nuts (any kind)
Preparation
    Beat eggs well.
    Add sugar, butter, buttermilk and soda. Combine with flour and 1 cup jam.
    Add cinnamon, allspice, cloves and nuts.
    Bake until a toothpick comes out clean.
    You may use any frost you care for.
