Ingredients

2 1/4 c. unsifted whole wheat or whole wheat pastry flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. softened butter or margarine
3/4 c. honey
3/4 c. carob syrup
1 tsp. orange juice or orange extract
2 eggs
2 c. carob chips
1 c. chopped Turkish or any organic apricots
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In medium bowl, sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
In large bowl, combine butter, honey, syrup and orange juice.
With a large spoon, beat until creamy.
Mix in eggs.
Gradually add in sifted dry ingredients; mix well.
Stir in carob chips and apricots.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
