Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1 c. white syrup
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. shelled raw peanuts
    dash of salt
    1 heaping tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and water until mixture boils, then add peanuts and salt.
    Cook to hard crack stage (285\u00b0).
    Remove from stove and add baking soda, butter and vanilla.
    Pour on greased pans and spread.
