Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. shrimp
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 c. margarine, melted
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    cooked rice
Preparation
    Wash, peel and devein shrimp.
    If large, cut in half crosswise.
    Cook onion, pepper and garlic in margarine until tender.
    Blend in flour and seasonings.
    Crush tomatoes and add. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Add shrimp and simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
    Serves 6 to 8.
