Onions Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large Vidalia onions
    3/4 c. chicken broth
    pinch of salt and pepper
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Slice onions and arrange in baking dish, overlapping slices. Pour broth over onions.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Dot with 1 tablespoon of butter.
    Bake, covered, at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
