Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    2 large bananas
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening until soft.
    Add sugar.
    Gradually cream with shortening until fluffy.
    Add well beaten eggs and bananas to mix thoroughly.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add to the mixture, alternating with buttermilk.
    Add nuts.
    Bake in 2 loaf pans in a 350\u00b0 oven for 65 minutes.
