Joan Eckersell'S Barley Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small onions, chopped
    1/2 cube (1/4 c.) butter
    1 c. pearl barley
    1 (4 oz.) jar mushrooms with juice
    1 c. slivered almonds
    1/2 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
    3 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter.
    Add barley and put in a casserole dish.
    Add mushrooms, almonds, soup mix and chicken broth.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until all liquid is absorbed.
