Texas Taters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen hash browns
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 small carton sour cream
    1/2 c. melted butter
    2 c. crushed corn flakes
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients with 1/4 cup melted butter; mix well.
    Place
    in large greased casserole.
    Mix corn flakes and 1/4 cup melted butter.
    Spread over potatoes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0
    for 40 minutes.
